Baby Mockingbirds

I saw the smaller one hopping around in my backyard, following its parents, then I found the larger one inside a trashcan. I kinda made a little boarded area in the yard. I wanted to keep them away from the cats that roam in the neighborhood but also where the parents are still able to feed them, but they ended out of course. One escaped and the other one almost did, I just left him on a chair and I took down the boards, we had gardeners come over a few hours later anyways.

They still can't fly very well at all. I found them both again some hours later and our cat was around so I put them in a box in our tree house and the parents fed them in there c:

I really wish I could care for them on my own but their parents are still around and were pretty pissed off at me for being near their babies.

We'll see how things turn out... it'd be cool if they saw me as their stepmom or something and would stick around once they grew up.
